CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a practical, goal-focused form of therapy that helps people understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Sometimes, unhelpful thinking patterns—like expecting the worst or being overly self-critical—can lead to distress and keep people stuck. CBT teaches you how to identify and challenge these patterns and replace them with more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. It also focuses on building helpful behaviors and coping skills that improve mood and daily functioning. Over time, many people feel more confident, better able to manage stress, and more in control of their reactions.
