Lisa Yoder, LSCSW

Lisa Yoder is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker at MPA's McPherson location, with training and credentials that span the full spectrum of trauma-informed care. A graduate of KU, she holds certifications in EMDR, play therapy, and sand tray therapy, and is a self-described Polyvagal theory nerd who brings a brain-based, science-informed lens to her practice.
Lisa is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with extensive experience providing trauma training in public schools and deep involvement supporting families navigating foster care in her community. When a client's faith tradition is meaningful to them, Lisa welcomes the opportunity to integrate that into the therapeutic process.
And then there's Lando — Lisa's therapy dog, who shows up to sessions ready to bring smiles and help regulate the nervous system wherever he goes. (He takes his job very seriously.) When Lisa is treating herself, it's a massage or a mani/pedi. She has clearly earned both.
