Suzanne Wolcott, MDiv, LSCSW

Suzanne Wolcott is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and ordained minister at MPA's McPherson location, holding a Master of Social Work from Wichita State University and a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. She is trained in EMDR and DBT, and brings a rare and integrative perspective to the work of healing — one shaped equally by clinical rigor and spiritual wisdom.
Suzanne works with clients ages 16 and up, specializing in grief, older adults, serious illness and end-of-life care, trauma, spirituality, couples therapy, and concerns of aging. She also serves Spanish-speaking clients. Her academic background includes lecturing on General and Developmental Psychology, Human Services, Wisdom, Ethics, Spirituality, and topics in aging.
In her own words: "I believe in my clients and in their potential. I am committed to being a good listener and a wise guide. I trust in my clients' inner wisdom and I am here to help them find their light again."
When she needs to find her own light, Suzanne kayaks to the middle of a lake to watch the sunrise — with a generous snack and a book of poetry in tow. If that's not a therapist who practices what she preaches, we don't know who is.
